Our ancestors celebrated the arrival of spring and the vernal equinox each March. In this seminar, we’ll explore the herbs that emerge in early spring, their folklore and traditional uses, and how we can incorporate them today for our own health and wellness.

Janis Fallon is a retired environmental attorney, engineer, herbalist, and a Rensselaer County Master Gardener. Her lifelong passion for working with the plants has included several 10 month intensive herbal apprenticeships with Rosemary Gladstar in northern Vermont, continuing plant and herbal education, and decades of growing, fun herbal projects and making remedies for friends and family.
