Bio

Kate Brittenham is the founder and principle designer of Front Stoop Gardens, an ecological landscape design and gardening company, specializing in native plants. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College and a Certificate in Landscape Design from the New York Botanical Garden. Cofounder of Home Earth Alliance, a nonprofit established to educate, inspire, and empower people to cultivate outdoor spaces to support biodiversity, mitigate climate change, and promote environmental justice, she is also co-author of the 2024 Designing Gardens with Flora of the American East.
