Learn about the native plants that build the foundation birds need and the habitat structure they need to survive. Special attention will be given to attracting hummingbirds to your garden without having to constantly fill and clean a bunch of feeders.

Kristi learned conventional gardening methods at a young age from both her mother and grandmother, now she is excited to share with both the community and her daughter! She constantly asked, "Why can't we plant the flowers that grow in the parks in our own garden?" Now she dedicates her garden to habitat for wildlife and growing nutritious food for her family. By sharing habitat gardening she hopes to create a network of safe havens for wildlife throughout the Capital Region.
